3D laser scanning via LiDAR technology allows AAB to document the existing conditions of any project, regardless of complexity with millimeter precision. By strategically moving our scanners throughout a jobsite and collecting millions of individual data points, we can render a precise 3D point cloud of any space. Our custom scanning solutions even allow us to survey areas that many won’t consider, such as crawlspaces, attics, interstitial spaces, and subsurface areas. Simply put, if our equipment can see it, we can most certainly measure it.

Do you have subsurface areas in need of inspection? Traditional inspections result in limited measurements with many areas being inaccessible altogether. We can provide the full picture far more quickly and safely with our custom LiDAR scanning solutions. Shafts, manholes, catch basins, confined spaces, and storage tanks may all be remotely inspected in 3D with incredible accuracy.

If 2D plans don't cut it, we can also supply your as-builts as a 3D building model, regardless of property type. AAB offers BIM as-builts in Revit RVT format for any level of development in your choice of LOD 100-500, LOD 300 being our standard. As with our 2D plans, Revit models are accompanied by a PDF file and your choice of photo documentation.

It’s all too common that if you have any plans, they are in the form of paper prints or a pdf/image scan. Often times, they’re in rough shape, illegible, or simply unusable in their present condition; but in many cases our team can convert them to a clean, usable AutoCAD format, sometimes even Revit should they be sufficiently detailed. Of course, this gives you the ability to have an editable file that you can easily work with, not to mention clearing out stacks of paper taking up valuable space in your office!
